We are seeking a Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Plans Analyst; position located at (MacDill AFB, FL) Tampa,FL.
The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Plans Analyst position requires the candidate provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the Joint Planning and Execution System and for all Adaptive Planning and Execution System activities to include the Guidance for Employment of the Force and the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan. During crises, the candidate will provide CWMD expertise to Operational Planning Teams, the Command Planning Board, and the Joint Operations Center for planning and execution of all CWMD missions. The candidate will be a Command SMEs for CWMD policy, strategy, and planning and will develop and make CWMD-related recommendations to the Unified Command Plan, the National Strategy for CWMD, and the National Military Strategy for CWMD. The candidate will develop elements of and review CWMD-related DoD publications, instructions and directives. The candidate will coordinate, develop and present CWMD plans briefings to senior USCENTCOM leaders including the Combatant Commander (a 4-star Flag officer). The candidate will support the client’s command leads for the Regional CWMD Campaign Plan; help the same integrate CWMD plans into operations, actions and activities and relevant Contingency plans. The candidate may, on occasions, serve as the primary points of contact for high visibility exercises, directing and supporting planning, coordination and execution. The Analyst will routinely access and update the SOCIUM, formerly know as Global Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System.
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED
- Demonstrated expertise with Strategic and Operational level military planning.
- Have a Master's degree in a related, applicable discipline from an accredited college or university (A Bachelor's degree in a related, applicable discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight years of qualifying experience may be substituted for Master’s degree.)
- Five years’ experience in area related to the CWMD field or the CWMD community of interest, with operations supporting a federal government agency Headquarters or similar government experience, and experience as a senior-level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must be a US citizen with a current DOD Top Secret clearance and ability to gain and maintain SCI as a condition of employment.
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat products
- Experience in the CENTCOM Theater of Operations
