We are currently seeking a Cyber Architecture Analyst with a strong technical consulting background. This position is for full-time work in Alexandria, VA at our government client site.  Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. A full benefits package will be provided.



As a Cyber Architecture Analyst you will perform as a “thought leader” as a part of a “talent advantaged” advanced team of cybersecurity experts and staff focused on delivering advanced risk based technical architecture and policy solutions for the DoD CIO.  You will perform complex analysis of high impact and sensitive systems to identify and analyze inefficient Department of Defense (DoD) information technology (IT) systems and business processes.  You will develop innovative management policy documents, strategies and procedures allowing the integration of cyber operations consistent with Department of Defense guidance and strategies.



  • Provide expert cybersecurity architecture, policy, risk and technical advisory services to DoD IT executives
  • Serve as Team Lead for IT Modeling and Data Analytics Team and  direct execution of team to accomplish client tasking
  • Analyze, design, evaluate, and plan the Business Architecture & Information Technology Systems Architecture in order to optimize the client’s enterprise information technology architecture.  This includes in depth knowledge of the enterprise, logic, systems, programming, and components; and a broad range of knowledge across the agency business, data, technology, applications and organizational views.
  • Work with the DoD CIO, DoD IT and Project Managers to ensure DoD architectures are appropriately linked, being leveraged to maximum benefit and ready for future development
  • Collaborate with DoD Component analysts to research and identify best practices, courses of action and the associated return on investment to improve the way in which money is spent in IT
  • Conduct research, development, documentation, and implementation of a repeatable methodology that tracks DoD IT investment from budget submission through the expenditure of funds. The methodology shall include the means to identify and correct inefficient or wasteful spending patterns.
  • Research, identify, and document trends, patterns, and business processes that may be modified to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the DoD’s investment in IT and recommend solution options.
  • Lead research and analysis of emerging data analytics tools, techniques, and procedures to identify best practices and innovative solutions toward the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness in DoD business processes and systems.
  • Lead the continued development and operation of the client’s deployed data analytics tools, data visualization capabilities, and decision support environment



  • 6-12 years of experience with 5+ years of DoD IT specific experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in IT related field
  • Active DoD SECRET Clearance with the ability to be cleared to TOP SECRET
  • Proven knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework viewpoints and models
  • Strong project and task management skills and experience to deliver high quality work products on-time.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with history of producing quality technical documentation
  • Proven experience working in collaborative sessions demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills along with tactful negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel 15%



  • Experience with DoD systems architectures
  • Supervisory/team leadership experience
  • Master’s Degree with 4-9 years of specific experience
  • Industry certification in Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience with DoD specific cybersecurity architectures, policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint as a knowledge management tool
