Program Manager Level II

We are currently seeking a Program Manager. This position located at the J7, Joint Staff Complex, Suffolk, VA.
Candidate will provide a high-level program management for a team of over 60 personnel. Serves as the contractor's single contract manager, and shall be the contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the contract level Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Develops, analyses, evaluates, advises on, and/or improves the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organization, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, delegations of authority, management controls, information and documentation systems, and similar functions of management. Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor and subcontractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Shall be responsible for the overall contract performance and shall not serve in any other capacity under this contract.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Master’s degree with 8 or more years’ experience
- Experience with Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality (ID/IQ) Contracts
- Must have knowledge of military doctrine, tactics and command relationships.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Technical writing experience
- Able to interface, work well and communicate with DoD and government clients
- Able to interface, work well and communicate with multiple team mates on several projects simultaneously.
